I’ve been making bath bombs for several years now. They started as a bush playgroup activity, and then became a regular activity I would do with my children to give away to tired mamas during the pandemic. Since then, I’ve come to enjoy making bath bombs as a therapeutic activity as well as a creative one. It’s lovely to be a white witch and play with dried flowers and eco glitter and pretty moulds. It’s even better to know that they are beautifully calming for the mind and body. These bath bombs are biodegradable, contain natural clays and ingredients, and the best part is that you get to enjoy the end product in a beautiful act of self kindness: what’s not to love about this?!

The act of bathing is in itself incredibly powerful. When done with intention, bathing is restorative and healing. It is often used ritualistically by professional sport-people, and is a well-known curative for the tired body and spirit. So impassioned am I about the benefits of bathing, I’ve even written a poem about it, which you can purchase as a download here.

Otherwise, why don’t you have a go at making some beautifully grounding bombs with your little ones or with some mama friends? They’re guaranteed to brighten your day! Download your free recipe here.
